Directions
From Los Angeles
Take the I-5 North until it turns into the 99 North over the grapevine. The 99 comes straight into Bakersfield. You will then take the 58 East and exit at Mt. Vernon. Turn left onto Mt. Vernon. Travel approximately 4-5 miles (go through about 5-6 stoplights). Turn left onto Flower Street and Kern Medical Center will be on your right. Go past the first parking lot, drive past the hospital, and park in the west parking lot.
From the North
You can take 99 South or I-5 South. The 99 South comes straight into Bakersfield. Exit Rosedale/178 and turn left (east) on the 178 freeway. Stay on this through downtown and it turns into the 178 freeway. Exit Mt. Vernon and make a right (south) onto Mt. Vernon. You will go through approximately 3 stoplights and turn right onto Flower Street. Kern Medical Center will be on your right. Go past the first parking lot, drive past the hospital, and park in the west parking lot.
